about us

In 2009, siblings Burr and Rinda started Historiska Fynd. But it all began long before that. Already in the late 1980s, their mother Gull-Britt began casting Viking jewelry in pewter in their kitchen. Soon, Rinda and Burr also became involved in jewelry making. The growing interest in craftsmanship, history, and jewelry was shared by the whole family, and Gull-Britt’s passion for history rubbed off on them. The business gradually grew, with Burr distinguishing himself as a skilled modeler, recreating many beautiful pieces of jewelry over the years.

Over the years, all three family members have frequented historical markets both together and separately, and it was at one of these that Rinda met Danne. New branches have emerged on the family tree over time, and today the business is divided into two parts, with Burr and his wife Maria responsible for retailers while Rinda and Danne run Historiska Fynd. Thus, the family business lives on, and perhaps it will eventually be time for the next generation to take over and preserve Gull-Britt’s legacy? Time will tell.

Recreating jewelry and bringing them back to life is the driving force, and attending markets has become part of our family’s lifestyle.
