Medieval strap end Se-24

kr125.00

This type of strap end was particularly common in the 15th century. The prototype is from a statue of Ulrich Busch, a German who died in 1458. It was then mounted on the armor.

The strap end is made of bronze and is intended for a belt that is at least 20 mm wide. It is not a problem if the buckle is wider, as it is possible to narrow the belt at the end. Up to 30 mm width is acceptable. The most important thing is that the leather is at least 20 mm wide for the strap end to be attached. There are molded rivets on the back to make it easy to attach the strap end. To attach it to the leather, make holes with an awl, push the pins through, and bend them on the back.
