Medieval strap end Se-37

kr295.00

This strap end is based on a find from London dating back to the late 14th century. The style is quite typical for that period, although this specimen is unusually well ornamented. The original is depicted in the book “Dress Accessories,” item 705.

It is designed for a belt that is at least 16 mm wide, but it’s not a problem if the buckles are larger as the leather can be narrowed at the end. Leather up to 25 mm in width is suitable. The important thing is that the leather is at least 16 mm wide for the strap end to be attached. The strap end is made of bronze.
