This pendant is based on an Icelandic bronze statuette from the 10th century, likely depicting Thor, the god of thunder. The original of this 67 mm tall statuette was found in Eyjafjörður in northern Iceland and is now exhibited at the National Museum of Iceland.

Thor was a central figure in Norse mythology, revered as the god of thunder and lightning. He was also known as the protector of humanity and one of the most popular gods. With his hammer, Mjölnir, his primary attribute, he fought evil and protected people from giants, trolls, and demons.

Made of bronze.
